Northwoods Wildlife Center will offer tasty concessions for sale, so please remember that outside food and drinks are not allowed. Just grab your blankets and lawn chairs, and get ready for an incredible time filled with great music and positive vibes! Bring your friends and family for a fantastic community gathering you won’t want to miss!

LITTLE WINTER SUN is the indie-pop-folk project of Northwoods-based trio: Brett Winters, Amanda Anderson and Nate Sheppard (with special guest drummer Michael Galindo). All solo artists in their own right, they each bring unique elements to the sonic blend: Winters with guitar, percussion, and harmonica; Anderson with piano; and Sheppard with a ukulele, and looper. They cover a wide variety of genres spanning several decades, using three-part harmonies and a blend of folk, cinematic and pop music to craft eclectic soundscapes.
Krazy Day Street Sale
This year’s KRAZY DAY! Street sale is scheduled for Tuesday, August 13th 2024 from 9 am to 4 pm and promises to be better than ever! This year’s event is open to all Minocqua businesses on and off the island, plus local organizations, non profits, artists and performers.
The streets will be filled with shoppers, and it’s the perfect opportunity to sell your products, introduce your business to a new audience, showcase your artistic talents, or promote an upcoming event.
Sponsored by the Minocqua Island Business Association, “MIBA,” this year's event will put an added focus on showcasing Minocqua area businesses, organizations, and talent. “Downtown Minocqua’s modern cabin-style rustic shops and breathtaking waterfront views are a MUST SEE. Minocqua Island businesses create some of the most northwoods inspired, and cozy atmospheres you can experience in Wisconsin,” stated Megan Pflieger, owner of TalonSong Gaming and president of the MIBA.

Join us Sunday, July 27th, 3PM - 6PM for a fun filled afternoon with CLOVER AND THE BEE!
Clover and the Bee began as a semi-regular song swap among three friends, songwriters and musical co-conspirators at Eric Christopher’s house in the West 7th neighborhood of Saint Paul. The three dug into their songwriting back catalogs to show off songs that were either not bluegrass enough (in the case of Anthony Ihrig and Christopher’s band The High 48s), not country enough (in the case of Becky Schlegel’s solo project) or just plain too weird for any other project.
It was at this open house for misfit songs that the three got the idea to start a new band, one whose sound showed Christopher, Ihrig and Schlegel’s country and bluegrass roots but wasn’t bound by tradition. With the addition of bassist Kevin Rowe (Buffalo Gospel, Space Burritos), who had recently moved to the Twin Cities from Madison, WI, Clover and the Bee was born. Named after a line from Emily Dickinson’s poem “To Make a Prairie,” Clover and the Bee play American roots music that’s as free and expansive as the wide-open flatlands of the Upper Midwest.

Get ready for a musical experience like no other! Santy and Son with Friends will light up Torpy Park with infectious beats and irresistible melodies.
The lead vocalist, Eileen, has a voice that can melt hearts and ignite dance parties. Eileen brings soulful energy to every performance and her stage presence is magnetic, drawing everyone into the rhythm. Guitarist John’s fingers dance across the strings, conjuring up groovy chords and electrifying solos. Whether it’s funk, pop, or rock, John knows how to make the guitar sing. Jeff on bass guitar, lays down the foundation with his funky bass lines. His fingers move in sync with the heartbeat of the music, ensuring that every note resonates through the crowd. Drummer, Scott, is the heartbeat of the quartet. His drumsticks create a rhythmic frenzy, driving the dance floor wild. From Latin beats to modern pop, Scott keeps the energy high.
Island City Wine Walk - Red, White and Brew
The Minocqua Island Business Association presents: The Island City Spring Wine Walk featuring Red, White, and Brew!
When: Saturday, May 31st from 4 to 7 pm
Where: Downtown Minocqua
The Island City Spring Wine Walk is an annual event sponsored by the Minocqua Island Business Association. We are a non-profit 501(c)(6) organization. Profits are used to fund other activities and events in the Downtown Minocqua Area. This year, we are introducing craft beer to our event!
Minocqua has hosted a fireworks spectacular and Fourth of July parade for MANY years. This year, the funding for the celebration was cut from the town budget; so, we are raising funds to make sure the show still goes on! We have pledged $5,000 to the Minocqua Area Visitors Bureau fireworks celebration efforts, and are hoping to raise a portion of that money with our patriotic event!
Take part in an evening of wine tasting, craft beer, hors d'oeuvres, shopping & more... right in the heart of Minocqua! Enjoy the island city night life including special sales, free drawings and picturesque views of Lake Minocqua. This is a great opportunity to visit our unique stores and boutiques. Tickets include an event bag with wristband, commemorative wine glass and map with all participating businesses and the beverages they will be serving. If you're unable to attend this event, we encourage you to donate instead of purchasing a ticket. Help save the fireworks!
In person tickets will also be available at TalonSong Gaming, Imaginuity, The Bottled Bean, and J. Christy's in downtown Minocqua.
Participants must be age 21 or older to participate in alcoholic beverage tasting. ID will be required at check in. This year, we will also be selling tickets for NA beverages as a thank you to designated drivers. A wristband is required to receive wine/craft beer samples. Please remember that alcoholic beverages cannot be taken outside when leaving each business. Minocqua town ordinance prohibits open alcoholic beverages on streets. There is no order to the event, so visit all of the stops at your leisure! Check in will be at TalonSong Gaming & The Bottled Bean from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Commemorative t-shirts will also be available for purchase at participating businesses!
